Treated honestly, that means there is often no strict statutory mandate to point to. It also means the responsibility falls to each provider to make trained, ready caregivers the standard, whatever the local law does or does not say.

Across every island the arithmetic of an emergency is the same — a child in trouble has only minutes, and those minutes belong to whoever is standing there. Wherever the local rules land, parents entrust their children on the belief that someone in the room is prepared, and a recognised, standards-based certification in paediatric first aid and CPR is the clearest way to keep that faith. Readiness is never a matter of jurisdiction; it is a matter of care.
